Oregon Humanities will welcome Walidah Imarisha, an educator, writer and spoken word artist, as the guest speaker for their 2015 Think & Drink series.

Most recently, Imarisha is the co-editor of the science fiction anthology, Octavia’s Brood.

Among other topics, the talk will consist of the history of black communities in Oregon and science fiction and social change with Adam Davis, executive director of Oregon Humanities.
